Stupid laptop died! I think it's the power supply, cuz it won't even come on at all from the battery or AC. I called Compaq support and actually got a very nice and helpful support guy -- and I didn't even have to hold for more than a few seconds! Since it's a "business laptop" the warranty is still good even though I bought it refurbished from some company on the Web. So at least it won't cost me anything for it to be fixed. If it were going to, I'd just have to throw the mug in the closet. I have to say that I'm impressed so far with Compaq's support line and warranty, which is weird because I've always heard bad things about Compaq.
