A lot of times when I write people email, I'll use nonsensical or irrelevant subject lines, like "shoes" or "fish lips." Same with this thing. Sometimes, just sometimes, I like to address more than one subject.

I haven't been worth a damn since I got the good news the other day. That's not exactly true -- I've actually been fairly productive in some ways, but I just can't get too worked up about writing these papers I have due in just over a week. My slacker instinct again rears its ugly head.

I just emptied my inbox -- there was a bunch of stuff in there that I needed to deal with, which meant responding to people, and I've just been putting it off forever. Glad I got that done.

Note to self: post scan of my new signed Crispin book for the leagues of Glover fans out there. OK, both of you.
