Jan. 11th, 2002 03:37 pmAhhh... almost done with a loooooong and somewhat stressful week. It was just hard getting in the groove here at work, and not much seemed to go right. I did manage today to get off my desk some stuff that had been dogging me, so I'm glad to be done with that (at least temporarily).
I can tell when I leave work at 5 that the days are getting longer. That at least gives me a hint that spring will come one day, even if it's waaaay in the future. I'm looking forward to it, though.
I need to see about getting a bed this weekend. The mattress I have is so fucked up it's pathetic. I slept so well on the guest bed at Mom's that coming back and having to toss and turn on this warped-ass bed has been a real drag. I probably can't actually afford to buy a bed for a couple of more weeks, but maybe I can at least look around. Ahhh -- the excitement that is my life.
