Sometimes I worry that my brain is really going on me. Like I'll write "there" for "their" and almost go right on without catching it. And that's not even a distinction I have trouble with. And a minute ago I wrote "had bad" for "how bad." That scares me! I used to turn in my papers in college without even proofreading them, and I never had more than one or two little things like that marked for each paper when I got it back. I mean little typo-like stuff like that; some of my papers may have had other issues like logic or organization, but very few had little goofy stuff.

Geez, I just did it again! I typed "will" for "with" in something I was working on. Stupid Alzenhoffer's Alzheimer's.

Cool, it looks like I just picked up a regular freelance proofreading job w/ Legal Affairs magazine. Twenty buck an hour for maybe a total of ten hours every six weeks or so. Not a lot, but every little bit helps. I also signed up this week for a farily big project in November -- some sort of university-wide policy guidelines. Should be fifty hours or so at $22 per hour. That'll definitely come in handy when the holidays roll around.

Now if I can just get rid of this blasted lysdexia that I've come down with.

I've never been one for chat rooms or IRC or any of that. I come in, say, "I have a fascinating set of snake hips," and then it's all downhill from there.
