They need to make a website or CD-ROM with all the Peanuts strips on it, so freaks like me could search for "Petaluma" or "Jose Peterson" and find particular strips. Who remembers Jose Peterson? What about the kid named 5--you remember 5, right? Come on, folks, these are classic Peanuts characters!

I feel like I'm in a rut lately. I just can't get motivated to do very much. I can't even string together a decent journal entry these days. For one thing, I could definitely use some sunshine and warmth. This weather is making me tired as fughk. And some money. If I could afford to do anything, it would help my spirits out a bit. So yeah, I need a vacation in the tropics, a gang o' cash, and some huge pectoral muscles. Yeaaaah.

Or, hey--maybe a good war would jack me up. Yeah, that's it--I need a good war to watch on television.

Shit, forget I said that.

Oh my god, my friend Cooter from home got married Sunday and is moving to NYC soon.

Yes, [livejournal.com profile] enfuego, I truly do have a friend whose nickname is Cooter. ;)

Cooter just asked me if I remember someone named Bubba Cheese. And the crazy thing is that I DON'T. Did I know someone named Bubba Cheese? And how could I have forgotten?

Don't you hate when you run into one of an identical set of twins who you haven't seen in years (and you never could tell apart all that well)? That always happens to me. Like I saw Michael or Jeff Kimbrell in Barnes & Noble in Birmingham one time, and he called me by name, but all I could do was say, "HEY, . . . man . . . how's it going, . . . man?" And I KNEW that he knew that I didn't know which one he was! I even gave him the opportunity to clue me in; midway through the conversation, I asked him, "So, how's . . . your brother?" Now he could have said, "Oh, Jeff [or Michael, or whatever]? He's fine." But NOOOOO, they never do that. Same thing happened with LeNora or LeDora Hogan when I was in the Starkville Wal-Mart around Christmas. I think they ENJOY it. Shifty bastards. I don't trust 'em. (Except perhaps for present company. Are any of you twins?)
