Did you ever have one of those moments where you realize something amazingly deep about the universe, and for a second everything makes sense and you understand something about the way the world works? And then you try to write it down and it's GONE. You can't articulate it for the life of you, and mentally retracing your steps doesn't work. You knew what it was all about for half a second and ya lost it, ya stupid schmuck, and now you're standing there in the kitchen with a goddamn ham sandwich in your hand. I hate when that happens.

Holy shit, I'm on fire today. I've done a whole gang of work today, and I still have three hours to do the one remaining thing on my immediate list. I needed that today, 'cuz I've been ice cold lately. Treading water, y'know.

drunk as hell, no throwin' up

On the way home today I saw this dude walking down the street, bobbing and weaving like crazy. By the time I had time to turn around, some woman pulled over and made him get in the car with her. He seemed reluctant at first, but I guess she convinced him that if he kept going on foot he'd be arrested in no time. I hope she considered taking him to the hospital; my boy was that tore down.

I know you can't see his face, but just from the back, doesn't this guy look like he's probably related to Joey Ramone?
