I was in PEAK class in the sixth grade with a girl who was such a big Duran Duran fanatic that she watched a whole Roberto Duran fight just because the crowd was chanting "Duran . . . Duran . . ." the whole time.

What's been your experience with writing about very painful events from your past? What about extreme anger toward another person? Does it help you to get it out on paper (or on computer, whatever), even if you never do anything but file it away or tear it up? Or does it more often just get you upset without resolving anything?

This has nothing to do with me right now--just something I'm curious about.

When I walk in my building and smell other tenants' food cooking, it always smells like store-brand Ass Whiz. But when I cook, my food smells GOOD yo. Except, yanno, when I deep fry.
