as some of you already know, there is, in john rollins's office, a rug hooked by YUP staff in 1958 upon the occasion of its fiftieth anniversary.
it would be grand if we could have a rug hooked, once again by YUP staff, upon the occasion of our 100th anniversary coming up in 2008.

and even if you'd rather have your hair set on fire than hook a rug you can still participate. i would love for you to send me your ideas about names, images, logos etc. from the past 50 years that you'd like to see included on the rug.

and for those of you who can't wait to hook a rug, learn to hook a rug, or teach others how to hook a rug, please let me know!

I, of course, immediately thought of making a hooker joke, but Dan beat me to it. Oh well, better his personnel file than mine.
