There are so many '80s songs that are dying for industrial covers. I'm totally out of it. Has anyone done any of these?

Ummm, I had a bigger list, I thought. Oh well.

On the topic of '80s covers, Marilyn Manson's cover of "Sweet Dreams" frustrated me greatly. It wasn't terrible, but it could have been so much better. There's this synth-cello break that they didn't even do, and it's got Marilyn Manson written all over it. Chumps.

This isn't really industrial, but Henry Rollins and RuPaul supposedly collaborated on a pretty crazy cover of Funkytown that hasn't been released yet.

There was this horrible synthpop cover of Funkytown in the '80s by some one-hit wonder called Psuedo Echo.

I know what you mean about the Manson cover. What a letdown.

I dunno if you're a Depeche Mode fan, but you might enjoy that tribute album. Failure does Enjoy the Silence, Monster Magnet does Black Celebration, etc.
