I've been listening to my homemade greatest pop hits of the '80s disc in the car a lot lately, so naturally I've been hearing Motorhead's "Ace of Spades" quite often. That's one of my favorite new wave tunes, but there's one thing that bugs me. There's a line where Lemmy croons, "And don't forget the joker." Apparently missing the whole card-game motif, until recently I always heard the line as "And don't forget to choke-ah." I can't help but think that the song would have been ever better if they'd done it my way.

Do you remember a Motorhead song called "Nothin' Up My Sleeve"? I used to hear it in the late '80s, but I can't remember what album it's on.

Hmmm, not off the top of my head. But to be honest, there's a lot of Motorhead I don't know.
