One time I was in the bedroom when I heard this loud crash in the kitchen. The ceiling light cover had filled with water and hit the floor. It turns out the damn cover was held in place with two springs! Are screws really that expensive?! Yeesh.

I don't know what it is with the flooding in this place. Well, aside from the fact that I live on the first floor. A couple months ago, the bathroom sink kept filling up with water. If that weren't bad enough, the upstairs neighbors took showers in the middle of the freaking night! The first time I heard the water spill onto my bathroom floor, I practically fell out of bed. Gah.

The landlords are a couple of cheap bastids. Instead of replacing the doorknobs to the stairs, they send Two Idiots and a Truck, Inc. to "fix" the damn knobs. ?!

Hey, do you know that Minutemen song where d. boon is reciting the note from the downstairs neighbor (and maybe the landlord)? "Hope we can rely on you not to use shower. You're not keeping tub caulked. Had to pay for two service calls. Water comes from all around . . . Kathy's ceiling . . . my ceiling. Don't use shower. Don't use shower."

Thanks! That comes from an old friend I used to get baked with all the time. His older brother Steve was something of a legendary head. He ended up getting banned from ever setting foot in the state of Mississippi again. Anyway, my friend told me that Steve told him a story once about being high on pot, acid, coke, and Absolut. He said he was "eight shades of freaky." And a catch-phrase was born. :)

I love your "Kill Whitey" icon. I've always wanted a T-Shirt with that on it, but have never managed to find one. The closest I ever got was my "Whitey Will Pay" bumper sticker.
