I just distinctly heard my neighbor moan, "OHHH NOOO." I shit you not. That dude is going to turn up in the papers, mark my words.

As in "Oh, no! I burnt my 88 cent Banquet 'steak dinner'!" or "Oh, no! You suckers are gonna pay for this!"?

It was definitely the latter sort. It sounded like he'd come home and found his collection of rare, infectious diseases violated.

It's like I've been reintroduced to him since the weather's been cold. All summer I had fans and a window a/c going and couldn't hear anything over the din. (Well, I heard the TV from time to time, but not his moans and growls.) I'm thinking about turning the fans back on just so I don't have to listen to him.
