I was just in CVS picking up a couple of things. When I went to check out, there was a kid in front of me buying a can of Campbell's New England Clam Chowder. When the cashier gave him his change, he said, "Wait, ain't I supposed to get three dollars?" She looked at him and smiled. He looked back and forth between her and his hand for a second or two, then realized that she had indeed given him three dollars. "Oh," he said. "Sorry--I just came to America. From Texas."

I said, "I know how ya feel, kid."
