(no subject)

There used to be a perfectly awful show that featured Loni Anderson as some sort of hospital administrator who had to deal with the wacky doctors and nurses who worked there. I remember flipping past it one Saturday night about ten years ago and witnessing one of the characters grinning madly and yelling, "I choked on Chad Everett's chicken!!!"

Do you see the kind of filth my mind is cluttered with? Do you SEE?!? Here's another illustration: today I woke up with Pan Benatar's "We Belong" in my head.

the show was actually called "Nurses". Loni Anderson played Casey MacAfee -- fyi ; )

no..I really knew it! It came out when I was YOUNG. and the only reason I even really got into it was because it was sort of a spin off of Empty Nest. And I used to ALWAYS watch that. Nurses was a little out of my league, but I watched it anyway.

If its the episode I'm thinking about, then yes I've seen it. do you remember if there was anything about a ribbon cutting ceremony for the maternity ward?

Thats the only episode I can think of where a woman was choking on chicken. I'm not sure if they did multiple episodes with a choking theme : )

OMG, now you're scaring me! There very well could have been a ribbon cutting. That would probably explain Chad Everett (who, I guess, is some sort of actor/celebrity type person) being there. They always have some B-list star at those kinds of things.

okay well then that must be the episode. From what I remember, it was all about the ribbon cutting ceremony, and the woman was choking on the chicken. One of the other doctors helped her, but she thought that carl everett was the one that saved her, and she called him her hero and the guy that really DID save her got pissed.

thats the episode I remember anyway, sounds like its the one you saw.

I'll try to be less frightening in the future ; )
