I love it when weird shit happens and it doesn't involve me, so I can just stand back and revel in the freakiness. I just witnessed a shouting match in the grocery store betwen two women in the self-checkout line. One of the women was loudly talking with her two teenagers about some sort of family drama. They were all talking about how one person was going to beat the shit out someone else. The mother kept saying how some guy was "a scumbag--a real scumbag" and he was going to get his ass kicked. So the woman in front of her in line told her to watch her mouth because she had young children with her.

"You shut up," said the first woman. "You just mind your friggin' business. Don't worry about me."

"I'm not worried about you, believe me," said the second. "I'm just worried about my kids."

"Jesus Christ," said the first woman, looking around incredulously. "I don't believe this. I don't need a bitch in front of me today. Can you believe this? 'SCUMBAG' IS A PROPER WORD!!!"
