I have a cousin (by marriage). His real name is "Cletus". Shorty goes by "Peanut", even though he had his choice of any nickname in the world. lmao

He didn't actually have much choice in the matter. One day one of my friends noticed that Dave looked and sounded just like Dukes of Hazzard Cooter when he laughed. He's always been a pretty good sport about it though. We were all about giving people embarrassing nicknames. To this day we call my stepbrother Grimmett (for Grim Reaper's Steve Grimmett). :)
