Judge duct tapes defendant's mouth

I love the picture--it adds so much to the story, you know?

update: Dagnabbit, they took the picture down. It featured rolls of duct tape moving down a conveyor belt in a factory. Very illustrative, huh?

DUCT TAPE. (!?!)

What a great picture. It truly helped me to understand.

Yes, that picture was worth--well, if not a thousand words, then at least six or eight. ;)

"when the attorney is appointed by the court, only the court can fire the attorney"

I didnt know that! thats not very fair because what if the court appoints a bad attorney and he doesnt defend you well enough and then you get convicted of a crime you didnt commit?

Yeah, I know--that is truly scary. But it does remind me of a good cartoon from this week's New Yorker:

Those tools! They took it off! OK, lemme see if I can describe the image. It was pretty complicated, so bear with me.

It was a bunch of rolls of duct tape moving along a conveyor belt at a factory.

Prizewinning photojournalism there, huh?
