Did I ever mention these? I saw one in Chattanooga once and couldn't believe my eyes. And when I was just searching for them on Google, I saw a lot of references to Pennsylvania and New York, so apparently it's not just a Southern thing.

Check out the story.

Yep, those are pretty bad. But not as bad as the ones they have in the U.K.

The Live Bait Machine! There's one in Ithaca that looked exactly like that. I thought it was just an isolated thing, but then I saw one at some random gas station in Pennsylvania.

Thanks for the link...

What the hell?

Before I scrolled down, I thought it was a video game.

They have them in Nothern Wisconsin as well. They even carry "enriched spawn sacks." Sounds tasty.

Yep. That whole baiting-the-hook thing kept me from becoming an professional fisherman. Or even an amateur one.

Well, I guess fishing is out of the question when we take off for Aruba huh?

Nah, we can probably get some of the locals to bait the hooks. Hell, we can just sit back, sip our Mai Tais, and let them do all the work!

I think that's awesome! I don't even fish...but it's cool. :)

Whoa!!! Now that you mention it, just this morning I got an email from some people who promised they could enrich my spawn sack.

You're welcome! Good to see you're still reading. I'm checking you out on your new site. I feel like you've graduated or something. :)

They should have made it like one of those claw games where you try to grab stuffed animals, except you'd try to grab as many worms as you could. And it would be cool if they didn't give you a container, so people would have to just scoop 'em up in their hands. They'd look like Pee-Wee Herman running out of the burning pet shop with all the snakes in his hands. :)

Yeah, it's so nutty that it's kinda cool. :) The one I saw was outside a Wal-Mart. It just makes me laugh to think of someone walking out and grabbing a tub of worms like they'd grab a Dr. Pepper or something.
