(no subject)

Did you ever notice how people on old TV shows and movies drive? You know, they keep both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2 just like they teach you in driver's ed, and they constantly move the wheel back and forth just a little bit. Weird. I saw someone driving like that today, and it occurred to me that I'd never seen that in real life. Seems like that would make the car shake like balls.

It's looking pretty springy outside again. If we get another snow it's going to totally break my spirit.

Actually old cars are heavy and no power steering. You are constantly making small corrections, hence the moving of hands like that. I look like that while driving the Falcon.

Oh, wow! I sort of wondered if was something like that. I learned something new today. :)

Funny...that's exactly how old people drive today! Coincidence? I think not!

Yeah, it was an old woman that I saw doing that today! And it was a new, small car, so it wasn't like she was driving an old Rambler or something. Of course, she probably has Parkinson's or something, and here I am talking shit about her. . . . I'm going to hell.

No you're not. If she did have Parkinson's, she shouldn't be driving. That sounds very cold, I know, but it's the truth. There are way too many people on the road who SHOULD NOT BE THERE because they pose such a danger to others.
