May. 13th, 2003 05:15 pmI've always been prone to getting goofy words or phrases on the brain. For a long time one of them was "SILENCE!" I'd bust out with it at work, sometimes because someone was being loud, and sometimes just for the hell of it. It used to scare the bejeezus out of people. "Snakes all up in it" is, as I've mentioned before, another longtime favorite. Car not running smoothly? Snakes all up in it. Recurrent indigestion? Snakes all up in it. For a while I was heavily into "snarl" as an all-purpose expletive, like if I broke a shoelace or dropped a piece of ice on the kitchen floor. "SNARL!"
This week, it's obviously "sometime my brains be all jumble up." I'm so crazy in love with this phrase that I'm considering putting it on my resume.
