I've always been prone to getting goofy words or phrases on the brain. For a long time one of them was "SILENCE!" I'd bust out with it at work, sometimes because someone was being loud, and sometimes just for the hell of it. It used to scare the bejeezus out of people. "Snakes all up in it" is, as I've mentioned before, another longtime favorite. Car not running smoothly? Snakes all up in it. Recurrent indigestion? Snakes all up in it. For a while I was heavily into "snarl" as an all-purpose expletive, like if I broke a shoelace or dropped a piece of ice on the kitchen floor. "SNARL!"

This week, it's obviously "sometime my brains be all jumble up." I'm so crazy in love with this phrase that I'm considering putting it on my resume.

I was stuck on "Silence, fool!" (all cartoon-villain style) for a long time. Now it's (god help me) "Awesome, Possum!" and "Thanks for the sour persimmons, cousin."
Sometimes my brains be all jumble up.

It's especially effective when you write in all lower case.

All very worthy catchphrases! Except maybe the possum one. ;) I might start adding "fool" to my own demands for silence! Mine is sort of modeled after the guy yelling "Science!!!" in "She Blinded Me with Science."

I made up a song last week and I have been driving my boyfriend kookie with it ever since:

"I'll beat you in the heady
with a pipe of leady
cause you're acting speady
It's time to go to beddy."

Yeah, it is totally fun to tune out and sing this with the newonce of tard style.
