Quick, someone help. WTF did I do with the Dyer jacket mechanical? I was supposed to take it downstairs, and now I have NO IDEA where it is. But I know I didn't take it downstairs.

update: Whew, I found it. Instead of taking it downstairs to Jonathan I took it upstairs to Nancy. I swear I'm losing my ever-loving mind.

Hell, I dunno!!! I was running around all morning with it--it was bound to happen that I would misplace it somewhere!

And you reminded me of another time that I went into work back in the day with my brains all jumble up. I was running late to work, and I ran in, went to the restroom real quick, and then went back to the office to start my shift. I went up front to change out some cash drawers and realized that I couldn't find my keys. I emptied out my pockets, scoured the office, went back outside to check the truck, everything. Finally, out of the same sort of desperation that makes me check the refrigerator when I can't find one of my shoes, I went in the men's room and looked in the trash. Sure enough, there they were. I guess I'd had 'em in my hands and thrown them away with some paper towels after I'd washed my hands.

I don't know what happens to my brain sometimes. But at least I haven't woken up in the wrong apartment lately. :)
