This looks interesting. An advance copy was floating around the press today, so I snagged it. Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre, to be published in the U.S. in September. Toole, Salinger, and O'Connor? (Not to mention DeLillo--I actually haven't read him, though.) Wow. Will be interesting to see how it holds up to that praise.

I'm sorry! Every character in the book just annoyed the living crap out of me!!! I couldn't even make it halfway through.
