When looking at NYC salaries as compared to thos of the New Haven area, keep in mind that anything less than a 20% or so increase is actually a pay cut when you factor in the astronomical cost of living. Although honestly, I'd rather eat Ramen and Dr. Thunder every night in New York City than GardenBurgers and Cherry Coke in New Haven (or Dallas, for that matter). If you see what I'm getting at. And I think you do.
