I'm really struggling not to be in a really shitty mood. Pizza is always a good antidote for pissiness. Mmmmmmm, Dayton St. Pizza . . .

I'm getting there with the juggling thing, believe it or not. I think my record is about 12 or 13 throws without dropping. I'm still getting to know my balls. I must become ONE with my balls. My three balls. One with my three balls. Yes.

OK, I finally have the videotape with the footage of Crispin Glover trying to kick David Letterman!!! And of course it's as hilarious as I'd remembered. I've been looking for this clip for over ten years, since Tim Williams absconded with my tape.

I'll have to tell youse guys about Tim sometime. Interesting cat. Jewish kid who married a Muslim from Saudi Arabia and moved to New Orleans to open a deli. No shit.

Oh yeah, back to the Crispin Glover thing. I'm gonna try to capture and convert the interview this weekend. Does anyone know an EASY way to do that? I can get the MPEG onto the computer fine, but I always have trouble converting them to something smaller but still watchable. I have a bunch of crazy programs that maybe I'll try to futz around with this weekend.

I love that Cripsin Glover interview! I had seen it online somewhere...Have you ever seen The Beaver Trilogy? I got a copy on eBay and it's totally worth getting. Crispin in drag lip synching to Olivia Newton John.
I'm dying to get Bartleby, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I just checked eBay and there were none up for bid..There used to be a bunch too! However, I have the director's email address (Trent Harris) and I believe you can buy a copy directly from him...Someone from the CG community saw that I had bid on it and gave me his address but I never needed it since I won the ebay one.

Good luck with that. The movie is in 3 segments and features a very young Sean Penn (pre Fastimes at Ridgmont High) and Crispin..it's disturbing, funny, sad, bizarre- I can't even describe it.

Yeesh... quicktime may be the way to go as far as a smaller, suited-for-the-web file size...not sure if they have an mpeg converter. if not, try to see if you can get your hands on a free trial of adobe premiere... I'm no help, I've been out of the web-video loop for years now.

You know, the bar manager at the Greek Taverna where I bartend periodically taught me how to say "I have three balls" in Greek...need to figure out how it's spelled so I can pass it along here... lol
