If I don't see some live music sometime soon I'm going to have to hurt someone. I might have to go see Ol' Dirty Bastard at Toad's Place in a couple of weeks. For real though. The new Misfits played there last Friday, I think, but I just can't go see them. Several times I've almost gone to see them, but I always decide not to. I'd probably tell Jerry Only to eat shit and he'd bash me over the head with his bass and it'd be a bad scene, so for everyone's sake I stay away from the Newfits. M.O.D. later in September would probably be just sad.

The Toad's show I'm really waiting for is King Diamond. You all know King Diamond, right? Of course you do. My boy King is a FOOL, yo. Actually I would like to see him, but I don't know if I can handle three opening acts. I almost always hate opening acts, especially at metal shows. But I would love to hear ol' King belt out "The Family Ghost" for all the G's.

I saw the newfits a few years back... horrible, and not in the way they intended either... Although DR. Chud's drumkit was impressive.

Yeah, I'll bet that was awful. Jerry Only has not the slightest understanding of what made the Misfits so cool. Everything I've heard from the new band is just goofy. Did you hear that they just came out with a whole album of '50s covers? Can you say GIMMICK? The whole thing makes me almost embarassed to have that big Misfits sticker on my car--I don't want anyone thinking I'm down w/ Jerry's farce.

I saw Flotsam and Jetsam open for King Diamond way back when. The crowd didn't really get into F and J for some reason. I was one of the few that did, judging from the stares. Hee.
