wickedfleaFuck. I hate when I have half an LJ entry composed and then absentmindedly restart my computer and lose it.
Basically what I was going to say is that the strike has started and I'm at work. Only a few people at the press are striking this time--even fewer than last time. I dunno what the campus-wide statistics are like. Jesse Jackson is on campus, but I forgot to go over and hear him speak today. Probably woulda just pissed me off.
I felt kinda bad about not doing my part in creating chaos here at Yale, so at lunch I made the small gesture of driving around campus with this prank call blaring from my speakers, particularly the part where the guy goes nuts and speaks in tongues. You should have SEEN the stares I got. It was almost impossible not to laugh the whole time, though. It would have been much better if I'd been able to keep a straight face as "SHEEMA LA KAMODA" filled the streets. I would also be nice if I had a loop of just the speaking-in-tongues part so I wouldn't have to keep backtracking.
I hope you people are downloading these tracks I'm posting. This is GOLD, baby, gold.
Damn. I just re-upped my paid LJ account so I could use my new icon that I made from a Jack Chick tract, but I can't get the damned thing to work. I want my five simoleons back.
