Nah, I think I was just hallucinating the whole bed thing--though the old-timers around here tell me that they used to have a cot in the basement where people would go to sleep. Same people who say that they used to knock off early on Fridays and drink wine in the library. I'm thinking, "WHAT?!? Damn, I missed the golden age around here!"
