I was lucky enough to flip by "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" last night just in time to see the "I got a rock" part. Excellent!!!

Anyone who needs a last-minute costume idea is free to use my idea of cutting a bunch of holes in a bedsheet and going as Charlie Brown on Halloween. Just let me know how it goes; I'm wondering about how hard it would be to keep the sheet on.

Yesterday my boss said, "I'll bet that was your mullet wig printout I found at the printer, wasn't it?" Um, yes, it was. And today Dan walked by and said, "Hey, guy. Oh, hey, I'll bet you're the one who was ordering that mullet wig, huh?" Hmmm, I guess they know me pretty well.

Can anyone tell me what the Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency is all about? If you do, please tell me. Break it down for me like I'm stupid, 'cuz I don't know what to make of this. And the forums don't help. Not a bit.

Last night I was wondering whether Charlie Brown was dopey enough to carry the bag of rocks with him all night. I got my answer at the end of the episode. Hee.

That's the kind of thing that makes Peanuts so great. A world where a kid goes out trick-or-treating and gets ROCKS--that's pretty dark!

vampires are people too

The Federal Vampire and Zombie Agency reminds me of Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series. In these books vampires are legal citizens and there are organizations that fight for vampire rights. In the first book someone wears a button that reads "vampires are people too" which I found amusing.

I admire that. More people should stand up for vampires!
