In the 1980s Memphis State University had a basketball player named Baskerville Holmes. Memphis State is now the University of Memphis. I have no idea what happened to Baskerville.

According to Google, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks in '86.

Ever since you deprived me of swinging from your mighty handlebars because you wandered off and had a love affair with a Mac3, then yes, yes it is all about hanging with the zoo chickens and Super Flea. *pbbt*

That's okay. You'll still look hot (with or without the mane) in that saddle/bridle/bit/and saddle bag combo I ordered for you from Fredericks of Horseywood, Ponyboy. ;)

Gack! You shut up about the University of Memphis! That is where I got my valuable degree, and where we have a book bound in human skin! Also, that is who just beat Louisville! Also, that is where I went! Also, that is where there are mummies!

I didn't say nothin'! I didn't even MENTION the fact that my Bulldogs beat your Tigers in football last year! (Mainly because we only won two games all season and I don't like to get into that. :)) I started watching that game last night--in fact it's what made me think of Baskerville and the boys. I used to watch them quite a bit on WMC back in the days of the old Metro Conference. I always pulled for Louisville, though. :P

Mummies? A book bound in human skin? Do tell.

Ha, I'm much calmer now...we really do have those things. The skin book is in our Rare Books exhibit in the library. And the mummies, well, just one mummy, really, is in our pretty cool Egyptology department. Us being named after Memphis, Egypt and having a Pyramid and all, the city likes to think of itself as a center of Egyptology.
