I'm thinking about ditching my home phone in favor of a cell phone. Does anyone know a good reason why I shouldn't? I have cable modem, so I don't need a phone line for the net.

I gave up my landline (that's what we call an old-style phone) a couple of years ago. Well, longer ago. But you know.

No, there's no reason to have one. Especially for me. Almost all of my calls are long-distance so I just take a plan that covers those calls and there's no problem.

Land-lines (or LAND TIED LINES) are stupid. Yeah, stupid. *SQUEEK*
