We got kicked out of the library for a board of governors luncheon, came back and it smelled like repickled fish ass up in here. Kinda still does. Damn that.

I was totally diggin' the Top 100 Metal Moments show on VH1 last night. I never thought I'd see segments on Manowar and Mayhem on VH1.

God supernaturally healed me of ulcerative colitis which was a chronic disease in my colon. If it wasn’t for Jesus I would not be able to eat any fried food, raisins, caffeine, seeds, chocolate, hamburgers etc. (all the nice stuff).I'm very grateful for God's grace in my life!

In 1969 Ima Hogg, Oveta Culp Hobby, and Lady Bird Johnson became the first three women members of the Academy of Texas, an organization founded to honor persons who "enrich, enlarge, or enlighten" knowledge in any field.

I think you actually work for a reference department, like Bunny Watson in Desk Set.

I don't, but I should! Whenever anyone needed to know what Norwegian band had a member that ate another member's brain, I'd be there! I'd be quite dedicated.

I love Man-O-War.

Manowar
Born to live forevermore
the something to conquer every shore

Something like that. That's from memory so you know I listened to quite a bit. Haven't owned a Manowar since high school in Houston, but I still inexplicably have one of their songs pop into my head from time to time. But VH1. WTF. I never thought I would hear anyone else mention them let alone VH1 do a segment on them.

Not only that, she's also homies with Amanda Huggenkiss.

Kick ass! You know what time it is. I had to grab Battle Hymns and Fighting the World on my way out this morning, and I even put on the song "Manowar" for the drive in. Killer stuff. I had a friend in high school who could do those high-pitched wails just like their singer. Scared the shit out of people in traffic.
