wickedfleaI almost flipped last night when I was watching the baseball game and heard the Meat Puppets' "Lake of Fire" playing just before they went to a commercial. I soon realized that it was the Nirvana version, though. Bummer. Oh well, at least the Kirkwood brothers played on it.
Speaking of the Kirkwoods, Cris is in jail, yo. For assaulting a cop. It actually sounds like he got a raw deal. There's even a website called Free Cris Kirkwood. Sad story. Sucks to see someone who made such joyous music bogged down with smack. Here's a depressing-as-fuck article from 1998 about Cris.
