I didn't watch even a minute of the Oscars. I boycotted the event because Napoleon Dynamite wasn't nominated for best picture.

I'm still getting random songs stuck in my head. Yesterday morning it was Manowar's "Metal Daze." Then, when I was boiling shrimp later, all of a sudden I busted out with "SO WHERE WERE THE SPIDERS?"

I watched some disturbing stuff this weekend. I finally broke down and watched the G.G. Allin documentary Hated. I'd heard so much about him over the years, and there it was on Netflix, and . . . yeah. Well, at least now I've seen it, and I don't ever have to watch it again--unless I want to relive the spectacle of seeing a man eat his own waste. *gorf*

Then, somehow, inexplicably, I ran across a Bittorrent for a Danish movie from the early '90s called . . . well, there's just no good way to say it, and I apologize in advance--it's called Gayniggers From Outer Space. I (No, it's not a porno.) I've never actually seen Plan 9 From Outer Space, but I can't imagine it being worse than this.

And then I found this quite insane video. Very creepy, but I actually kinda dig the song.

Put the lotion in the fucking basket.

So yeah, given all that, I had some pretty fuct dreams last night.

Oh yes, it's already happened, thank you very much. I just hope I don't start singing it to myself. These fuckers around here are already looking for a reason to lock me up.

I still need to see "Hated".

Funny thing about that movie: Todd Phillips (who directed it) has gone on to do such films as "Road Trip", "Old School" and "Starsky And Hutch". He's also the guy who first showed me how to find and download net porn. No kidding. His office was down the hall from one I used to work in, and when we first got net access there back in '95, one of our employees (who was dating Richard Kern at the time, if that tells you anything) ran down to his office and made him show us how to amass a smut collection in AOL's chat rooms. It's good to see him doing well for himself, as he was a cool guy back then, even as a "guy who I'd run into in the elevator" type.

Nice! Kreator's going to be playing here soon. Somehow I never got into them, though. I heard one song, thought they ripped off an Exodus riff, thought their drummer couldn't keep up, and that was it. But I probably should have given them another shot--I know a lot of people really like them.

My stepbrother Grimmett used to walk around his job at Kroger whistling Slayer tunes. Who whistles "Black Magic"? Grimmett does. :)

Kreator's early stuff was kinda sloppy, but the guitar riffs were heavy enough to keep me going for a while. \m/

I remember having the same impression with the drums on Possessed's early material. One of the guys is in Primus now. Larry LaLonde, if I remember correctly.

That's terribly, TERRIBLY catchy...which I guess is okay, because I kinda dig the song. But I think it's eventually going to wear me down.

I sat there in front of the television, wondering why I was still watching the Oscars. Then I tried playing some Sudden Strike--badly, I must say--and goofing around with my new MP3 player. Woo.

Yeah, it's pretty much taking over my head right now. I had it in my head as soon as I woke up this morning.
