Ah, the day just got a lot better. So that I can go home at 4, I skipped lunch, but I was starting to rethink my decision because I was getting a headache. But I just scored a plate of leftovers from the publications committee luncheon! I'm not usually much for leftovers or catered luncheons, but goddamn, this hits the spot. I am lovin' me some chicken and rice. :)

And my bed gets delivered tomorrow! I can't wait. They gave me a window of 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. I didn't want to put them off, so I'm going to take off from work tomorrow. I haven't decided whether I'll declare it a sick day or a personal day. Wow, that'll break up the week nicely -- Monday off, work Tuesday, Wednesday off, work Thursday and Friday... I need to have more weeks like this.

update: and pecan pie for dessert! A little Southern flavor for that ass.

Not quite that good, and not nearly as good as my Grandmother's, but not bad in a pinch. :) I know how you feel... I had a major craving for a Sonic this weekend, and I'm always on a WH jones...
