Holy shit, did I. :) I don't know much about Deep Banana Blackout, but their horn section sat in for three songs tonight and it was sick, sick, sick! Major ass-kicking. I think I have to go see them in Worcester on Thursday and/or on Long Island on Friday. I can't afford to, but I must...
Did you see them in NJ? I was going to go to that show...but I don't have any money. Argh. Deep Banana Blackout is a shitload of fun, I love funk music. And yeah, their horns section rocks. :)
I think NJ is tomorrow night. I had thought about going to that one, but I didn't get tickets early, and it's reserved seating... That show in Plainview should be a trip, though -- one of the Hell's Angels shot and killed someone at that club the other night!
