More on the crazy spam problem from a few weeks ago. I don't know what much of the below means other than that someone is sending a blue fucking ton of spam with my name on it. Almost 100,000 today! I lose the Internest.

and that's from 00:00 to 18:15.

We've been watching the amount of inbound emails that have been from
malicious sites, and our mail system is pretty much starting to delay
other emails because of the sheer amount that has been flowing
towards us.

From the looks of it, you've basically been mailbombed since we've
started handling your mail exchange, and it hasn't gotten less over time. We
need to find a way to resolve this so that it doesn't increase and render our
mailservers useless.

What I suggest is that you start using a subdomain, like
chris@mail.chrisheller.net for your real mail, and basically turning
the MX off for chrisheller.net. If you use a selection of subdomains,
they can have the MX turned off for them if they get abused. However
this is really annoying since you would have to constantly change your
email address to everyone and all of the lists you're on.

Another option is to have you go to discountdomainregistry.com and set
up your mailboxes there, and we can change the MX to their mailservers
while everything remains here.

Right now, there is no need for action as there is more thought that
needs to be put into this. I am not sure how your domain managed to get
in such a quagmire, but the number of machines that are attempting to
deliver is impressive.

Yeah, I told them about it when it first started happening. But it sounds like they would have noticed anyway. chrisheller.net is threatening to bring down their whole system! Inconceivable.
