I'm in charge of the copier on our floor, which means I get to call for service when the thing gets out of whack, which happens every ten days or so. We have this crewcut-wearing repair dipshit who usually comes to fix it, and he always tells us that we're not using the proper technique when making copies. Today he told me that there's "a bit of a curve before you can become a key operator." Gimme a break.

(Today, though, the copier wasn't actually broken; someone had just put the legal paper in wrong, so I really did look like an idiot. Maybe one day, I'll master the intricacies of this photocopier and truly become a key operator.)

Haha...I work at Document Services. ALL I DO IS MAKE COPIES. I swear, I never want to see a Xerox machine after I graduate. I make service calls too...nothing funner than listening to on-hold music for an hour :-\

Don't worry, I'm sure some day you will be a Key Operator!

Yup . . . the people answering the phones are fun too.

(after five minutes of confirming my contact information, she finally asks how she can help me.)

"Yes, I need service on our copier. The feeder isn't working properly."

"OK, what seems to be the problem with the feeder?"

Um, it's FUCKED UP? Geez, whaddya want from me, a detailed diagnosis? That's what crewcut boy is for. :)
