wickedfleaFuck this old computer, man (not actually this one, but the desktop that won't run for a minute and a half without resetting itself) -- I'm gettin' me a new one o' them. Dell made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I guess I could make do with my laptop, but it just ain't happening. I've had this desktop through 3 1/2 years, two processor/motherboard upgrades, two CD burners, three power supplies, and god knows what else. I think the only things original on it are the DVD drive, the case, and the monitor. And the monitor has been making death noises for several months now; I don't know how it's made it this long. All in all, I think I'm due for a new one.
Friday and Saturday nights = me seeing the Allman Brothers at the Beacon! I was thinking about getting a hotel room for Friday night, but I think I'll just come on back on the train each night; I can't really justify the expense of a hotel. I'm really looking forward to the shows. I just got a copy of their show from last Thursday, and they're sounding great.
The South Carolina Gamecocks are playing basketball on ESPN. Did you know that they actually call the women's teams at SC the Lady Gamecocks? It's true.
