So the Chinese president was in town today. Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven . . .

OK, not blood, but a lot of red flags.

 . . . and other flags

 . . . and signs

. . . and at least one really scrange jacket.

This was my favorite part. This guy was reading from some book while his partner held the business end of the loudspeaker . . .

and this guy and his crew weren't diggin' on whatever the other dude was reading.

So they bum-rushed him

 . . . and bum-rushed him

 . . . and bum-rushed him

. . . until they were right up in his damn FACE blaring trumpets, crashing cymbals, and making whatever noises they could to drown him out.

Right in his EAR, yo.

They were groovin'

. . . when they weren't checkin' me out

. . . and laffing their asses off.

This dude wasn't havin' none of what homegirl was sellin'.

NONE of it.

These folks probably had the best idea of anyone.

And these folks . . . well, whatever.

Haha! Oh, that was classic.

"Criticize our government, will you? In that case, how about if we hire a band and put a trumpet right in your ear?"

man that picture with the guy getting up in that woman's face pretty much sums up new haven comma life in, at least for me. all you need is some white yale undergrad looking privileged and panicked about his grades, and two grad students beating each other up over GESO, and you pretty much have it.

What the guys with the trumpets didn't know was that the Chinese government had already stolen the insides of his ears, so he couldn't even hear them.

What the? I want a jacket that exclaims "NIGGERSNATCH" on that back! I am jealous now.

Whatever was going on looks like a lot of fun.
I am going to take a trip there sometime. Tell all the Chinese people to come back while I am there!

I know, that jacket is bad-ass!!!

You should totally visit. If the Chinese folks don't show up again, we can just go hang out in my neighborhood and ride the bus.
