One night I drank way too much (imagine that) and was out dancing with lesbians at Club 735 on Bourbon St. Normally I hate Bourbon St. but I was so blasted that night I didn't give a shit where I was. Anyway, so I literally fell out of this club onto the pavement, got up, stumbled across the street, sat down on the sidewalk and promptly puked my guts out right in front of this hot girl I had been dancing with.

After that, I absolutely had to put something in my stomach to absorb the all the belleh ick, and the only thing open nearby was a lucky dog stand. I had been a vegetarian for 7 years (am still one) but I was so drunk and miserable that I was like "gimmealuckydogplzthx......." and handed this poor guy a sweaty wad of dollar bills.

I ate the hell out of that Lucky Dog, and it's the only time I have eaten meat in almost 10 years. Fucking Lucky Dogs.

Ya know I've seen some other reference to "disaster tours" maybe it was in the link Heller gave to his conference but WTF? I remember we got so sick of post Isabelle looky loos that we posted signs "Either help clean or go away!"
Is this an industry NOW? Do people actually pay for tours of the damage? I guess I shouldn't be suprised. And I suppose I wouldn't be peeved if the money was going to help rebuild.

Grack, I'd probably freak out if I saw Gulfport. Growing up, I used to go to the Biloxi coast all the time, but I haven't been since the casinos went in--so it's undergone at least two major transformations.
