You can also get a turkey leg for four bucks and pretend to be Henry VIII.

I don't know anything about cooking catfish, so I'm all yours including cornmeal. Isn't that out most catfish houses prepare it?

Date: 2006-07-23 07:19 pm (UTC)Like you say, I do miss the variety of pizzas, calzones and subs up North, and some of the seafood (Mani is a big lobster and steamers man) but for myself, nothing beats Down Home Southern Cooking. Shreveport isn't too far away for decent Chinese and sushi if we really want it. I haven't looked for Thai yet, but we were just discussing how I miss it (though we've grilled killer chicken satay).
