So I was in this place called Qdoba for lunch today. I asked the guy, "Hey, man, how do you pronounce the name of this place?" Guy looked me right in the eye and said, "TUSS-KUH-LOOOOO-SUH."

OK, not really. ;) That comes from an old joke about Tchula, MS. A couple from out of state is traveling through Tchula on their way west. They stop to have a bite to eat, and they ask the soda jerk how to pronounce the name of the place. Dude says, "DAIR-EEE KWEEEEEEN."

For some reason, the notion of fish tacos has always skeeved me out. But catfish, yeah, I might want to try that. =)

Incidentally, my package yesterday arrived in a box marked "FROZEN SEAFOOD." I thought, wtf, did he send me crabs?!? ;)

There's this one fast-food chain around here that sells fish tacos, which is bascially a fish stick in a taco. Huh?

Ha! I think Archie and Co. find their boxes in grocery stores. A friend of mine got a package from them in a box marked "COB CORN".

they buy their boxes surplus - for years we were sending things out in "Timmy's Asparagus" boxes.
