Has there ever been a cooking show about trashy food? Yanno, like Dorito casserole and beefaroni and fried bologna and kool-aid pickles and shit like that. I would think that'd be a hit. There was actually a White Trash Cooking cookbook several years ago that did well.

I saw Jesus Camp last night. Pretty creepy. That one kid did have an ACE rat tail, though.

Apparently that "God Warrior" was on Trading Spouses again last week, but I can't find it anywhere online, and that makes me weep.

It's almost 2:00 and I haven't been to lunch yet.

Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade. She tries to make upscale things, but ya know, it's still coolwhip. The she makes the grossest food.

There seriously needs to be a show.
Look how many things can be done with Velveeta alone...

BTW...Do you know anything about the Yale Daily News?

Ask about our fried pickles

I vaguely remember a white trash cooking sketch on Blue Collar TV, but that's it. Surely someone must have built a whole show around this idea.

A girl I was in grad school with just came out with a White Trash cookbook.

White Trash Gatherings

It seems to look a lot like the one that came out in the early 90s but I haven't read it, just seen the cover.

Oh, I think I saw that! She was throwing canned corn and lima beans in something, I think. I wondered, what kinda cooking show is this?!

I know, it's such a rich subject!

Hmmm, I don't know much about the YDN, other than having read it while I was there. At the press, we had some interns who also worked there, but we never talked about it, really. What's up?

Yeah, you would think! Watch, now that I've said it, someone will come along and take the idea and hit it rich.

I have an interview next week to be their office manager...basically the only grown-up in an otherwise student run environment.

Just wondering if you had heard anything about it while you were here.

I saw it. Strangely she seemed like the sane one and they paired her up with a black guy who was super into his race. When she's not acting like a freak she's actusllt kind of endearing.
