The intro was the only part that actually sounded like it was supposed to! I think Eddie's guitar was in some alternate tuning and shoulda been swapped out. Dave has no excuse other than just being Dave. What also kills me is how nuts the crowd went!
Oh man, I'd forgotten about that little dude. For some reason, though, that made me flash on their shirts that said "VAN HALEN KICKS ASS" on the back. I remember being at Disney World with family and my aunt being APPALLED at that shirt.
Hee! I see the exterminator trucks occasionally with the Little Man on the back. Apparently people try to steal them, since there was a rope around his foot.
Oh, that reminds me of high school. There was this one guy that was sort of a jerk, and he was wearing a shirt that said "Peace My Ass" on it. The director of the music department told him to cover it up. He got all meek and said, "Yes, sir." I had a hard time trying not to laugh. :)
At one point (the 80's) I thought they were the absolute best thing since malt liquor. But now I wouldn't stay for their show if they paid ME! They should have considered a reunion a long time ago. Now it's just embarrassing.
