wickedfleaLive Turkeys Left at Taco Bell Drive-Thru
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- A prank has ruffled some feathers at a Taco Bell drive-thru in Bakersfield, Calif.
Five live turkeys were left in the drive-thru area at the Taco Bell on Olive Drive around 10 a.m. Sunday. Some of the birds appeared to be healthy, but at least one had visible injuries. That bird was later euthanized.
Customers looked on and took photos from their cars as the turkeys walked around the drive-thru.
Around 30 minutes later, animal control officers arrived. They rounded up the birds and took them to a shelter.
