(no subject)

I was buying acoustic strings at Guitar Center tonight, and when I told the cashier my name (you know, Heller), he goes, "DUDE, that would be an AWESOME last name if you were in a metal band!" But then he kinda looked at me like, ". . . too bad you're not the type to be in a metal band." I didn't bother to inform him of my history in Dry Heave, Reign of Terror, Special Ed and the Remedials, or Crackerbox Death Sandwich. I know the truth.

Besides, I am now the proud owner of a Celtic Frost shirt, thanks to my homeslice [livejournal.com profile] buscemi, so my metal cred is spotless. Thank you, my kind sir!! I positively growled with glee when I opened the package. \m/

Sweet! I'm glad it got there in time, mang. :D Ah, hell! I just noticed the upside-down pentagram on the skull. Funny how I never picked up on that before.

Haha, wow! Yeah, I have no idea what they're like now, but they were bad-ass in '85. They were so heavy, I thought they were from Mars.
