I'm eating nasty anise cookies that don't feel like they're done in the middle. Why? Because they're here. People bring in entirely too much food in this department.

I think anise cookies are nasty no matter what you do to them.

So true. They threw me off because they're white with icing. I smelled the foul odor in the air, but I thought it was from some black jellybeans that were here last week and seem to keep reappearing.
