I'm trying to create a photo portfolio for . . . I dunno, perhaps some use. I'd like y'all to look through the following collection and give me your input--increase the contrast here, darken this one, forget this photo, include this other one, etc. I'd much appreciate the input.

In other news . . . well, I'm in Mississippi, trying to stay positive, and attempting to figure out a way to keep my head above water by/while being creative. Your support is always appreciated.

Ok I know you didn't TAKE it since you are a pee wee in it but I love the Astrodome shot!

I personally love all of the bizarre AL and MS shots. Especially the religious ones. They would make a good collection. I thought I was southern but when I look at those I feel like a damned yankee! The civil rights mural one is really cool btw.

Shoot I should have written down the numbers or something of the ones I really liked. Obviously the porch chair shot is AMAZING.

I really love this one...I am not an artiste or anything but I like the contrast of the message on the wall with the horribly uninviting bed on the floor.

I am not so hot at knowing what to DO with the photos. I guess in my head I am sort of putting them in logical groupings.

I think for a portfolio, pick a smallish number of shots that really zing. My personal favorites are the ones that share the theme of "intimate look into eccentric rural lives" so to speak. Not that the others aren't quite good, they all are, but you have a gift for capturing these beautiful odd moments in time. Pick several portraits, several landscape, several WTF and arrange them together.
