Oops -- I had a feeling that I might be stepping on some feet. :)
The emphasis is on "still." Though I've never considered myself an Aerosmith fan in the least, I do admit that some of their early-to-mid-70s stuff was pretty good. "Sweet Emotion" especially. Somewhere along the way, though (sometime in the mid-80s, if you ask me), they crossed the line and became the epitome of overprocessed, mass-produced, saccharine garbage -- which is fine for people who like that sort of thing, I suppose, but it just ain't rock 'n' roll.
But hey, I'm the sort of butthead who still thinks bands are selling out when they use keyboards, so admittedly my perspective is a bit peculiar. :)
