I do that! A snorting laugh. It all started because I don't like how I look when I smile, let along laugh, so I would keep my mouth shut, but couldn't stop laughing, hence the snort. I do it all the time and never thought it odd til my father started taking the piss.

Haha! A good snort can actually be charming; I always get a kick out of it when I say something to make a girl snort. :)
